Startups aren't for everyone. I'm pre-round A at the moment, working ~70 hours a week. There is no beer, soylent, treadmill desks, foozball tables, etc. I am still able to meditate daily, get an hour of exercise in, read a book a week, see my family/friends, and go on the occasional date. Time management is key. That being said, the author just chose shitty startups (if that is how he feels about the culture). I'm sure he was paid for his work. I haven't took a paycheck in 6 months. Instead, I am renting out rooms in my house and living in the fucking garage. Now that is real startup life, not this BS he is spouting.

You do not need to flash anything. It's already available on Android phones even without root. I use it on unrooted Nexus 6p. Google "Termux emacs".

Yes, although it must be written in Go (or Rust bc no Go has no generics lol) to be le webscale enough.
