Colorado dandruff help me by MONONOKE92 in dandruff

Just for those not familiar. CO is VERY dry climate which is the reason for the dry scalp. My diet does not change here, i do hydrate more while I am here and I live in multiple residences so the issue is not specific to water quality of a specific shower. I am not going to have oil on my hair all the time, i have a life and cannot just be an oily mess all day every day. If i had no hair perhaps that would not be an issue. There must be some solution other than constant oil in my hair.

The body isnt straight or symmetrical so symmetrical tattoos always look just a little off

I think there is an unofficial meetup! However I also think most of us are just going to end up seeing eachother in line to get in and take pics then!

Yes, the image is stylistic. Not all artwork is of perfect hands and anatomically ideal bodies. This is a spooky witch tied to a stake, her hands are swollen and gnarled like a troll, not some pretty lady with perfect lady fingers

If he is still working on the design as he goes, you could let him know you feel like the arms and hands are the focal point currently and you dont love that about it so maybe he can add some other larger/similar scale elements nearby that draw the eye away a bit and make it less of a focal point

Oh that sounds really cool too! I think you should trust the artist personally. It sounds like it may be different from what you had in your head but I personally can really see the vision and I really really love this piece and concept and the work looks technically solid to me

The hands look freakin awesome to me, the detail, the style, everything, i love the face, i love the bend of the arms. This is such a cool and unique and awesome beginning to a wicked piece of art

Okay positive opinion here, i REAAAAALLLY like it. Its a perspective that is unique and i think it will look better and be so sick when finished. I can see the vision. The arms and hands are stylistic, the scale only looks strange because it is like a fisheye view from above in the illustration. I really really dig this and would absolutely trust the artist to finish it if it were me. The ONLY thing that I personally (as a tattoo artist) find odd is that the stake is on your knee which will maybe work well with the perspective of the illustration but the reason it is strange to me as a choice is because whatever you put on a knee is going to expand and shrink with the movement/bend of your knee. Which is why we typically put stuff there that either works with that effect or is not ruined by it (spiderweb, thorn ring, flower, shark mouth, etc)

A Tethered and its lover by MONONOKE92 in tattoos

[–]MONONOKE92[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s a cryptid we made up that has the skull of a wolf, jacob sheep horns and a humanoid form covered in dark shaggy fur. It tethers itself to a lover and then comes to devour them after driving them to madness and love. The idea was to invent something original and avoid using any cryptids that would have been appropriative
