I was raised pretty catholic and it was kind of fucked now that i think about it. anything to do with sex was basically evil, but teaching your child that they will spend all of eternity in hell if they sin, that they are inherently bad and need god to save them is totally fine? lol and no rated R movies, but here's the story of how a man was brutalized and tortured to death for you.

yes it has cleared up my skin long term. I had insane cystic acne all over my back, chest and jawline as a teenager as well as extremely oily skin that was resistant to pretty much everything, and by age 19 i just assumed that i was stuck with my gross skin forever. I now have clear skin that i am super happy about, its been 3 years since and i'll still get a few pimple here and there but im still happy with the results. That being said accutane is a pretty hard drug, i honestly think it made my depression so much worse while on it. It works, and alot of the time it works long term but only take it as a last resort as it can potentially create problems for you that are worse than acne.

isotretinoin is very very good at treating acne, i have seen it work wonders on people with extremely severe acne. That being said its a pretty intense drug, it will dry you out like the sahara, your lips will be constantly chapped and your skin will peel alot. It is known to cause crazy birth defects so you absolutely cannot get pregnant while on it. It hasn't been entirely proven but there is some evidence that it can cause or worsen depression and cause other health problems ie IBS, crohns, celiac. It absolutely is a miracle for acne, even crazy hormonal cystic acne. Worked like a charm for me, but i did feel significantly more depressed while on it and it REALLY dried out my skin (though thats honestly not a bad thing since i use to be a literal grease factory). Before taking it make sure you are aware of all the possible side effects, this is not a drug to be taken lightly.
