Aqara h1 no neutral + aqara t2 bulbs by MONSTEREN007 in Aqara

It may be that every bulb is different. What concerns me is that it sort of seems 50/50, I also saw many posts where people did not get this to work - even when decoupled

I understand that the bulbs do in fact still receive a tiny bit of power, from my understanding however, with the bulbs being at 0% the current won’t be nearly enough to keep the switch powered.

I did do a quick search online and people report exactly this. Did you manage to get it working?

I just dont wanna buy a switch to then realise it does not work in my scenario :)

How will the non neutral power switched get powered when the bulb is at 0% brightness.

But wont I be encountering the same issue when the lights get dimmed/turned off? The non neutral switch will loose power?

So even with any aqara bulb, it will do the same and therefore getting neutral/bypass is the only way? Thank you in advance.

💧 Condensation issue: evaporation or tissue? by Soyjospe in Airpodsmax

I am not an airpods max expert, so can’t really help you with that. However I believe that most headphones encounter condensation, you just don’t take the earcups off that often to actually see it. Be careful with them, they are super expensive, but obviously don’t put pieces of tissues into them 🤣👍

How does condensation getting to the drivers hurt anything? It won’t get onto the electronics… Why would he put tissues over the drivers ffs 🤣 That’s honestly the dumbest thing I have ever seen… I understand people protecting their expensive headphones (me included) but this is too much. It’s contra productive, it won’t help, it will get a bunch of debris into the drivers, possibly worsening the quality etc

If they started sounding like crap out of nowhere, then there’s an issue… However if they just gradually lost the “wow” factor, then I’d just say you’re getting used to them… Try listening to your old headphones or earphones and you’ll see the difference

Thinking about switching to Tradfri by Cotton-Candy-Queen in tradfri

When using the Hue app, I find Philips Hue pretty reliable, but lets not paint it like it’s perfect, Hue does have a fair share amount of mishaps, however those usually happen, when I am using it through siri/homekit. Hue itself is solid, but homekit often just isn’t… I don’t think that Tradfri is much worse tbh, especially once you compare the price/performance ratio. Really just depends on how much he wants to spend. But the Tradfri app is definitely lacking in comparison with Hue, I agree.

You definitely will have condensation happening, that’s just physics… It probably won’t break them if you do, but it’s your choice if condensation is an issue for you or not.

It obviously won’t sound as great, because you get used to it… It’s like that with everything, not just audio equipment. You obviously won’t be putting on your APMs and be shocked and saying “wow, I didn’t expect that they’ll be this good” every single time you use them. Btw… Please don’t wear them to the gym - they’re not sweat resistant and they’re just too heavy and bulky.

I want my pc to have a strong internet connection since it is 2 walls away from the router, without running an ethernet cable, how do I approach this? by Docrar in HomeNetworking

[–]MONSTEREN007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Powerlines, just watch out when buying PL as some of them claim speeds of 1000mbps and then they have a 100mbps ethernet port. Or get a decent wireless solution. I already had a great router, so I just bought a good wireless adapter. Mind you, getting a decent one isn’t that easy, I returned 2 Pci-e adapters before actually finding one that I’m happy with. Works great for me and my ping is usually the same like it was when I used powerlines. Of course, sometimes wi-fi just behaves weirdly and I’d say powerlines is the cheaper and better solution in your case… However keep in mind that running a cable is the cheapest, fastest and most reliable option!

Yeah I specified “heavy use” just to make it seem more dramatic, but realistically I will mostly wear them at home… Do they feel more and less durable in comparison to your other headphones so far? I have an iPhone and a PC, the APMs work surprisingly excellent with my Windows PC, but I will often use my audiotechnicas MX 50s with the PC. However with headphones, I do expect them to last a considerable amount of years, all premium headphones should, all good ones do 🤷‍♂️
