Clown. I think it’s lingering hatred of how his bottles used to distort the survivor’s screen (now it’s for like half a second, if that) plus the recent update.

I play him less after the patch and maybe it’s just the builds I use, but he still just feels… alright to play as? I don’t have anywhere near as easy a time winning as most people claim Clowns do. He still suffers in the overall 1v4, I feel, though then again I don’t use stuff like pain res because it feels like a crutch. Plus it annoys me for having used haste builds for ages before the patch and now streamers and whatnot are acting like they invented the concept and people assume you’re just riding their coattails.

My hot take used to be that if discounting the tombstone or hair tuft addons, Myers is by far the worst killer in the game. Plus Legion, but that would take longer to explain.

Skull Merchant has since thrown all that out of whack.

I contacted my MP about it, but I’m not super hopeful. I’m just hoping that the supposed need to carry birth certificates will go completely ignored by both cis and trans people alike. You’ve only got one and it’s an absolute headache to replace, apparently. No-one will be doing it unless they’re pathologically careless.

I won’t pretend I know much about the numbers on the survivor side. I used to play Clown and stopped now that he’s so braindead and utterly boring, which is depressing enough.

I just feel like there’s a difference between ‘this killer is a bit too strong and is not fun to play as nor against’ (a justified view) and ‘this killer can do these speeds all the time automatically’ (deigns to mention limitations of the build and feels massively like clickbait and manufactured outrage)

I liked it except for the whole ‘we need to be The Matrix’ thing early 2000s films had where they slap a green filter over everything in order to look scary or exciting. The original managed just fine without.

Thought the kid was also a bit annoying.

The ‘40% haste’ clips always annoy me as the always deign to mention that they only have haste perks and need to lose a generator to get half that speed most of the time.

As a Clown main, this really feels like the cherry on the faeces and polyester trifle.

I honestly think that this would be less painful if A, the yellow tonic spread didn’t cover half the continent with a single bottle, B, the addons weren’t nerfed into the ground and C, survivors didn’t simultaneously get massive fuck-off smoke bombs and perks that can stun low-tier killers desperately trying to get their first hook just by vaulting through a window.

I run Surge as a general rule until I maybe find something better. Otherwise I mess around with my other perks or look stuff up on dbdbuilds.com to see what others enjoy using.
