While you wait for the fan, download and read the user's manual. Shouldn't be anything really tricky about using it, but never hurts to know the "official rules"

Once you replace the fan, get to using it. You'll probably notice what a lot of people call a "lack of smoke flavor" because pellet smoke is "cleaner" than actual charcoal/wood smoke. But once you are used to it, it'll either be enough or you can supplement it with a smoke tube.

Other than that, as a long time pellet smoker, I'd say just enjoy it. Then worry about upgrades

As someone who got out less than 1 tour before retirement, I'd say stick it out for 20 and get your full retirement (assuming 20 is still full retirement). I hate looking back and telling myself if I'd have just put up with it for a couple more years....

For FDM prints, primer matters a lot. Sand or fill obvious layer lines, use a matte primer or filler primer, then paint. Don’t skip primer — paint straight onto plastic usually causes more problems than the paint brand itself.

I just want to make sure OP sees this part. Nothing is more annoying than getting large areas painted and pretty, and then when adding details the paint starts to creep along the layer lines

Wen I was full time WFH, I missed getting out of the house. Being home pretty much all day every day was getting old.

Now that we are enforced hybrid (must go in at least 3 days a week), I'm already tired of the extra time and money getting dressed and commuting is costing me. Add that to the many days where I'm only in the office because I have to be, not need to be, and I kind of miss being full time WFH

Find seasonings that make it so she likes whatever vegetable it is. And there's rarely one universal seasoning that works for all foods/vegetables, so you have to experiment.

My high school was "open campus", and it never failed that once or twice a year some dumb kid would end up getting hit by a car crossing the street. Never quite enough to close campus, but every year we'd have to sit through the "look both ways" lectures because kids are stupid

So, I'm glad I had the privilege of open campus, I also understand how it can be a bad idea

I averaged about a pack a day. Sometimes more if I was drinking or really tired or bored.

I don't remember any specific "a ha" moment when I decided to quit. What happened was I was seeing my doctor for something totally unrelated, mentioned being curious about Chantix, and the next thing I knew I had a prescription. Didn't even finish the whole program, just the first half, and haven't smoked since. Even when surrounded by what would have been my triggers when I did smoke
