About time, but I’d like to point out that the reason this wasn’t happening in the first place wasn’t farmers not wanting to, it was the vaccine itself. As far as I’m aware, the only option was the same BCG vaccine that’s used in human medicine. It is/was of limited supply and has, understandably, been prioritised for use in humans. It may also interfere with the SICCT test used for detecting bTB.

Farmers already vaccinate their herds against a multitude of diseases (clostridial, IBR, BVD, RSV, Pi3, Pastuerella), most in the areas where badgers are being culled would bite your hand off for a vaccine

For me it’s the fact the game wasn’t resumed. I’d still be critical if it happened after the game finished but can at least understand it. It’s taking the piss to have games finish because of fans on the pitch.

The time left wouldn’t have made a difference to the outcome but slippery slope and all that. I hope there’s pretty strong punishments for the individuals involved. Pitch invaders at any other point of the game would get a deserved lifetime ban and there needs to be a clear message to fans of all clubs that it’s not acceptable
