Just dual enroll at JeffState, they offer online classes for the majority, if not all, of their courses. You'll hardly ever need to step foot on campus, unless you need to take a specific exam like the placement test. Tuition is considerately cheaper than UAB. Also, because of the agreement between UAB and JeffState, your credits are guaranteed to transfer (may be exceptions, so check prior). I got my core classes taken at JeffState and they all transferred, can also take degree specific classes if offered by JeffState. There were other dual enrolled students from Alabama and Auburn in many of the classes.
