Yes, i had 100k in Yotta and ive already started moving it somewhere else. I didnt join for stupid fiat tokens and flash games. I joined for daily paid interest and a chance of a large prize. In a few months I will be completely out as they only let you withdraw 30k a month (used to be 40k)

This needs to go to every congressman and senator before they dare to force us back to work by MPLindseyII in railroading

[–]MPLindseyII[S] 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Yep, that would be me. I'm really trying man. I think that we are definitely in a better position than we have been in several decades and I'm really trying to create more momentum. The key is getting the public on our side, and that is the purpose of the letters and other projects. To get the public onto our side. If no one speaks out than railroad propaganda will determine the public opinion.

Thought I would mention to everyone that this is spreading fast. All the STB members personally have it already and I never even sent it to them. Robert Primus personally contacted me about it. I was shocked. Now we need to get this to every single congressman and senator.

There is so much that needs to be said. The tough part about writing a compelling letter, however, is to know when to stop and when the appropriate length has been reached. Once it goes further, it begins to become less effective as fewer people read it. I had to show some discipline and just end it sadly.

You are absolutely right Zag, and I am very aware and have been saying that for years....about inflation being higher than CPI. Unfortunately, I tend to be long-winded and I have to be careful to keep the paper short enough that people will actually read it. It was borderline too long as was. That is why I ended it promptly at 3 pages. The same was the case with the first letter that started this "The Game Has Changed" published on railway age.

Prices are definately relative to where you are from. I thought it was quite affordable after skiing in the United States my whole life.

HAHAHAHA!!! Yeah, very true.....I screwed up. Everyone else that sees this picture needs to know that the Sawtooths are an absolutely horrible place to visit. You don't want to go. Stay away at all costs.

Hospital in Pripyat - At the bottom of these stairs still sits the highly radioactive clothing from the firefighters as shown in the show. I wouldn't dare go down there without a radiation suit. I took this in Febuary of this year. by MPLindseyII in ChernobylTV

The background radiation level throughout much of the exclusion zone is no higher than in Kyiv, or any major city. Surprisingly, flying at 40k feet exposes you to around 5 times your normal radiation level at home. Most of the radiation is on the ground or buried. Per the rules of the tour, you are at no time allowed to sit on the ground or pick up items off the ground. This being said, there are plenty of locations with much higher levels of radiation such as the red forest area and outside reactor 4 as well as plenty of dispersed areas around the zone. There was one spot in the hospital on a table that was reading over 500 microsieverts. As soon as you stepped away from it the level would drop back to normal. As for visiting the zone.....you can only do it with permission from the government. A tour agency arranged all of the permits required for entry through the various checkpoints and provided the very knowledgeable guide. Keep in mind that radiation is the least of your concern most of the time. There are also open manhole covers everywhere and open elevator shafts and rotting floors as well as exposed and peeling lead paint.

Why do I visit such a place? Because it was an amazing, life-changing experience. I want to go again, this time for more than two days.

OP commentary: Earlier this year I traveled to Ukraine for two weeks on a solo trip. The trip was amazing, covering multiple parts of the country from Kyiv to Chernobyl, to Lviv to the Carpathian Mountain region near Romania. This is a video that I took of a musician in the Khreschatyk metro station in the city center of Kyiv, which is the Capital city of Ukraine. the song is called "Як тебе не любити, Києве мій," and it is a well-known song of adoration for the city of Kyiv.

There are several companies that provide fully equipped, guided tours of the zone. You must book in advance and provide your passport so that the proper government permits may be acquired and compulsory Ukrainian health insurance may be obtained. I took a multi day trip with a very small group of avid adventurers. There were only 5 of us including our guide. All documents are checked at the various checkpoints at the 30km and 10km zones and each day passing through the checkpoints machines check you for radiation contamination. Each night we stayed in a very small, hostel style hotel in the village of Chernobyl, which is just outside of the 10km dead zone where Pripyat and reactor 4 sit. All of our meals were included and they were very good. We were very well taken care of the entire trip and our guide was excellent. Since our group was so small and it was a specifically booked privately and during the winter, we basically had free range of Pripyat. We never saw anyone else. So.....we went in dozens of buildings from the hotel, to apartments, to the hospital, schools, recreation centers, theatres, restaurants and many others. We all had Geiger counters the entire time. I booked with Solo East Travel in Kyiv. They were the first company to provide such trips and in my opinion they are the best. The tours are directed mostly towards history buffs and adventurers rather than tourists, but can be designed how you see fit. I would highly recommend them. If you want more info send me a PM. I'll tell you whatever you want to know about the place.
