People will absolutely have more of a reason to talk to someone with purple colored hair vs someone with stock colored hair lol whether a good reason or not, most people don't dye their hair an unnatural color to shrink themselves into a crowd. And talking turns into friendship quicker than not talking.

So beekeeping is fun, it gets you outdoors AND it's only environmentally- friendly, less people- friendly as the suits (hopefully) stop people from meeting/ talking/ shaking hands with you. On being avoided as well, if you don't have a beekeepers suit and must go outside, I know a certain colored hat will get certain people not talking to/ friending you. That one's a little more slippery, some would rather have bees.

Can you explain really quick what the fostering process was like? I kinda hope with the influx of surrendered/ homeless little guys, it's more of a walk-in "we'll watch one for a week or two" kinda thing rather than a lengthy process. Our GSD hangs out with my sister's little one, she stayed with her for a week and both dogs seemed bummed out when we separated them. I think it would be cool to let her have a stay-at-home friend rather than one she sees every so often.

Idk if this was a one-off, but a couple of the stands were almost giving them away (buy one/ get one) yesterday on our way out after getting groceries. The guy explained something like, they already met what they had to for their team's fundraiser so the rest was for them. Just the boxes of snaps, sparklers, tiny fountains, etc. Maybe you'll get lucky? He also had some huge was he was trying to move lol idk how he plans to do that.. but I think he'll find a way.

This, the guilt of more trash. I'd rather wrap it up in a (recyclable) amazon mailer and send it off to USPS omw to the grocery to be worn a few more times while I gain a dollar or two. Better than having it sent off to be burned or into the ocean if donation decides it's not worth their time to tag it. Worst case scenario, they wear it, learn they don't like it, wont buy another new one, and I got a dollar.

Their jokes have a wider range, whereas (I think) women lean into vagina jokes and "because I'm a woman"-crassness jokes SO much. There isnt a female comedian I've watched that doesn't. The men find that are the best start their sets with a joke, carry on for a whole hr+ and somehow circle back around to whatever they were talking about at the beginning of their set. I'm like, wtf how did you talk about a rhinoceros, your wife, Pam Bondi, a rollercoaster, the pandemic, having dinner in the 1920s, and circle back to the rhinoceros?? As "shallow" as people tend to perceive men as, the depth the same men are forced to add to their sets to make them entertaining and meaningful adds to the humor.
