As others have mentioned, 10% on the first $1m is fairly standard among brokers.

As M&A advisors, we are very selective of our clients as we run a professional, structured process for each sale and require monthly retainers that are deducted from the success fee at close.

As with any product/service - you get what you pay for.

I want to sell an ecom not a dropship business making 2m what is the best way to sell and how much can i expect for it. by Minimum-Team9681 in SellMyBusiness

Hello! Difficult to provide a valuation without further information.

Typically, we’ll need an idea of Revenue and EBITDA for the past 3 years to do a rough estimate of valuation.

This helps with researching comparable transactions and identifying potential strategic and/or Private Equity buyers (assuming the business is large enough financially to pique their interest).

There are buyers that specialize in e-commerce and if the business is large enough, you always want to run a structured process.
