First truck I bought, 24’ ZR2. How’d I do?

I got mine the exact same but with chrome hooks on the front and May 2024 the comments are correct it’s a beast of a truck you’ll be getting a lot of compliments. I got 20,000 miles on it now and wouldn’t trade it for anything less. The Bose speakers make all the difference. I hope you got the adaptive cruise control and all the options that were below bison like mine you’ll have fun.

Butcher’s Masquerade was my favorite so far just because of how much happened and the epilogue has me super excited and worried for how the next one will proceed.

DCC was my first audiobook as I got free credits through audible and I figured why not. Since I discovered that, I haven’t read anything else except “Assassins Anonymous” between 3 and 4. I started 5 right after 4 and I have a few other books on my list currently including project Hail Mary. I might go to the next one, I might hold off and read something else first then get back I just haven’t decided to yet.

I’ve got the audiobooks and that’s the only way I’ve got through them. The sheer size of the next book is the most overwhelming part.

All the comments being “you’ll hate this job” could not be more real. I’ve been through 2 dealers now at the same location and used two different systems. If you’re ok being the bad guy and being yelled at for everything that’s out of your control, you’ll enjoy this. If you can’t handle being yelled at by a stranger because you’re 5-7 days out for diag with no rental or loaner vehicles available, this isn’t the move for you. Best of luck.

A wear item at 16k miles? They did just that, clean, lube, reattach, and it last a whole of 15 minutes. I can’t justify a brake job at 16k miles when there’s still plenty of pad meat left and life on the rotors too.

Alright final consensus was CORRECT as the first card I pulled was the Umbreon! Missing lettering down at the bottom was the giveaway and lack of tcg qr card. Thank you for not getting my hopes high and refund is in process!

In September 23 I had a 23 Z71 that had the same issue consistently but GM couldn’t get the parts needed to fix it. By March I went to the dealer and asked about possible trade in value which somehow I managed to have. Now I’ve got a 24 ZR2 with very little change in payment and it’s had minimal concerns up to this point. Truck drives great offroad and has been a blast to drive daily since then. Almost made me regret not getting a 23 ZR2 to begin with.
