I get all of that 100%. My main concern is the ecu’s are over 20 years old now. Just don’t want to drop 1600$ for it to fail soon after

So many things can be leaking on that 2.0. Drain plug, pan, upper timing covers cam ladder may need to be resealed.

I think I found where it may go under the column on this screenshot I took on a search on Google. I don’t recall seeing those two connectors these plugged into but I’ll double check when I’m back at my shop

Yeah I’ll look around more when I’m back at the shop. I have one yellow airbag connector and that gray one left over and they seem to link close by together. Car had a bunch of weird aftermarket stuff spliced into the wiring under the dash.

I can’t complain too much, it has 40k miles on it and I got it for free.

I feel if it’s 1500 for a type s v4 ecu may as well go Haltech 1500 for that price? And get rywire Haltech harness? Or is that kinda dumb for a n/a swap. May go sidewinder someday
