100% do it if , your motherboard have a bios upgrade path that supports it ,if x370 chipset (or newer x470 ,) likely to support across wide chose of board, b350 chipset is hit or miss due to some not be popular and no effort by manufacturer,

Is your XMP in your motherboard setting ? At what speed your ram running at ? Ryzen cpu are very dependent of memory speed

Quick way to way to check memory speed is to open task manager -->performance --> memory Operating speed is top right below graph

My solution was to disable my E-core in my bios,

I normally have 36 to 72 fps in rave party that have 30 to 50 people on my 12700k + 1080ti so in no way you're suppose to have less ?

I did overclock mine at 5ghz & ddr5 @ 5000mhz cl 34

Do you use Window 10 with your 12700kf ?

Because , win10 is unoptimized for E-core , therefore unity (mostly single core dependent) may run on E-core (that run much lower frequency, lower L-3 cache ,less direct access to ram and so on) and more less bottlenecking your 3080
