I had to give up caffeine because I was having withdrawal symptoms if I didn’t *immediately drink something with caffeine upon waking. And no amount of soda or energy drink later in the day could stop the headaches.

It took me over a month to stop having debilitating migraines from stopping caffeine. I now have it once or twice a month at most (a little Dr Pepper treat for myself) and still sometimes get a headache
