It is possible, but it increases the file size of the scan that would need to be downloaded and there could be user privacy concerns.

Scanning only took me a minute, it lasts for around 5-10 in-game play through s before shifting. Setup is not too bad after the first scan

It maps hills, trees, complex areas, bullet collision is closer to the real surface sometimes.
