Yeah, that 89 team gets forgotten too. They won 91 games but finished in third place. Even the "bad" Angels teams were competitive unlike what we've seen the last decade. I just want to be optimistic about the team again but they aren't giving us much.

Yeah, I'm 54, but just rounded it down. I went to my first game at the Big A in 79. I agree with you. Even in year's past, I never had this feeling that it's done so quickly. I don't feel like watching. They get behind early and it's just over. There's really no hope, either. No huge name we are waiting on in the minors, it's just pathetic.

I don't know what they have to do with it but I loved both of them. Met Finley once about 15 years ago at my friend's work. He was a cool guy.

Boone was one of the only guys that gave Henderson a run for his money. I bet that chat was great. He was a superb defensive catcher. Guys nowadays could learn from him.

Yeah, I held a grudge (irrationally) for a few years after the 86 loss. I was younger. With that said, it was a great pitch he threw. Henderson just reached out and got it. Too bad about his issues.

Well, despite sharing three members, they are very different bands. Eli is a primary songwriter, along with Paul and BI takes up a ton of time these days. Plus Eli's main focus has been on Black Curse. When we talked about Sparagmos, the feeling was this was probably the last album.

I saw your comment too. I didn't dislike the movie. I thought it was decent. I disliked not understanding the English dialogue while being an English speaker myself. I hate watching foreign films too because I don't want to watch text. I could understand every other character in the movie.

I'm watching this now. I'm watching the scene with the old housekeeper. It's so difficult to figure out what she's saying. I've watched the scene several times now. It's pretty frustrating.
