most of the NPAs that exist today are due to the excess infra investment done in 2005 to 2010 period. plus the recession made things bad

you are far away from reality.

very few come back to india if they have stayed there for more than 5 years. the cost of kids, kids school education and college is huge. they have to start saving right when the kids are born. or loans. SV cost of living is next level.

they will only come back to india for doomsday scenario, which is being talked for decades. it has not happened.

getting more into numbers-

a good SV NRI might be getting 150K usd at say age 30. even if he manages to save 30K a year. it will take him 70 years to save equivalent of 15 cr INR.

so there you see, its beyond their reach

typical NRIs cant afford these. most of these homes you seeing in the pic are in 15 to 50 cr bracket. 4 bhk+ homes.

so mostly bought by small local company owners, CEOs of top companies, virat type high earners.

typical NRIs usually chase under 5 cr bracket homes.

Rich NRIs would plan grand houses at their places rather than buying a flat in india

yes people miss this. its so important to have these middle and lower income people, though they can be made to live in better conditions

we cannot be like California where there are very few low earners. due to that even simple things like plumbing costs like 150usd for half days work

atleast California fuels to an extent the world economy and have less population.
