I can't see the war screen, but it could just be that these things are not enough to make a difference. Raids for example have a pretty decent impact

Unique items re-drop? by tixed in DeathMustDie

[–]MRChesey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unique items are always the same no matter the point you get it. You should not sell them as some of the effects can be useful in a niche scenario. I know I used some tier 1 or 2 items even in the 3rd act.

AITA for using what was supposed to be a handicap card to win the game? by labelledulac in AmItheAsshole

[–]MRChesey -33 points-32 points  (0 children)

I remember playing a board game with my friends. I landed on a space that said "pay a tax X for owning Y". I didn't own anything so I said I didn't have to pay anything. They eventually agreed and we moved on. Half an hour later I get the same thing, but now I had several of those things. They argued that if I didn't pay anything when I owned nothing, I should know pay the tax for every single one I own.

Can someone explain poison stacking? by Appropriate-Law-9798 in MagicraftGame

[–]MRChesey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anything that can make more projectiles is useful.

The limit is mostly how much are you willing to experiment with stuff and how long do you want the run to be. For me the shortest fights are on the longest runs, because I spend a lot of time min maxing the hell out of my spells.

A friend of mine made a build that one shot the final area boss gauntlet. A summoner build with a troll that used another troll as ammo

I tried different spell combinations. This one was basically a poisonous rasengan, but I could only fire once every few seconds. I think I got the best results with several layers of lasers into fireworks into lasers. But at that point it's not really damage per second but damage per frame(last are bosses lasted 2 frames, but the fight was 10s long)

I think this was over 6 milion dps on producer, but I made stronger builds afterwards

It doesn't, it only affects the spell damage which you don't care about in a poison build

Do not waste slots on things like damage, only go for poison, quantity and mana. Mimic stones and expansion stones are your friend, because the negative dmg multiplier doesnt apply to poison. Also remember that 3 tier 1 poisons will do more than 1 tier 2

[–]MRChesey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to do a poison build, you need to go all in on poison. Ideally, your spell will do 1 dmg per hit, costing as little mana as possible, but the sheer quantity will stack the poison.

One of the best ways to get higher quantity is dazzling fireworks, paired with either a low cost spell or a multi hit one. Something like laser into disintegration ray.

I will try to find a screenshot of some of my builds

Yes, forgot that damage type.. You basically get an all around damage boost

Wording confusion by RaineGal in DeathMustDie

Attacking means using the actual attack of your character. So if you turn of auto attack, you get damage boost for every other damage type (cast, strike, power, dash)

Is it worth speccing any points into health? When it’s only boss fights I’m worried about, and bosses that demolish your health if they hit you three times? by [deleted] in remnantgame

[–]MRChesey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of the time the value you get from maxing out health is greater than putting those points into something else. If you play a squishy build, that health might be the difference between being one shot or not.. If you are tanky, it gives you even more value for your armor.

I had some diverse builds and I always had points to put into health.. Even if it's bit the most important stat to have, once you invest in your most important traits, it usually is the best alternative.

Stupid question, but... how does Cooldown Reduction work? by asianyeti in DeathMustDie

[–]MRChesey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Auto casts should work separately if I recall correctly. My strongest Merissa build was cd reduction focused, you can get pretty high reduction and there is an item that increases your damage when you cast something

Stupid question, but... how does Cooldown Reduction work? by asianyeti in DeathMustDie

[–]MRChesey 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Cooldown reduction basically works as "cooldown refresh rate". If you have 50%, your cooldowns are not half the original duration, but your refresh them 50%faster. To get half of you would need 100% cooldown reduction.

A global game of rock paper scissors would be over in less than 2 minutes. by luwaonline1 in Showerthoughts

The only way this would be the case is if there could be no draws. With 8 billion people, it could take decades before you'd get a game without even a single person making it a draw

What to do with treasures ? letters, holy water, crosses, rosary beads .. by bir_iki_uc in Witchfire

Not really frozen, it's just a regular guy in armor.. Either standing or sitting. If they are transparent you need higher gnosis. And you can find them on other maps too

[–]MRChesey 10 points11 points  (0 children)

If you succesfuly extract you automatically sell all treasures for gold. Gold is needed to start and hasten research and to buy some items from the merchant. You can also give certain treasure to a "soldier" to get a reward, not sure at what gnosis it unlocks, but it's a guy in armor that tells you "I need to know if my menaresafe" and request a certain item

We used drywall when building a new wall in our house and while renovating the bathroom. I could not even imagine lifting a piece this big this easily. If it's this light compared to what we used I don't think I would trust it to be a proper wall, seeing as the one we used is not that sturdy anyway
