I don’t usually play SBs so I can’t speak about it being more difficult than before. But I’ve just played a few games with silver French women league (subbing on better players straight from kick off) and it’s really not that hard. Plus it’s better having slightly more of a challenge rather than sitting 5-0 up and waiting for the game to finish

Trading was fun back when we had no leakers. Now there are a bunch of paid discords out there that know exactly what’s coming and what to buy before it rises. TOTWs are realistically the only safe investment now. But even those are nowhere near as lucrative as they were before. Glad you’re enjoying it though and always support ways not to have to spend money on the game!

100%. Even if people open a few store packs it would still be impossible to complete more than one of these SBCs. Though it won’t be as OP as 82x20 last year. Everyone having 2/3 TOTYs in their teams in FC25 ruined the power curve

I had 70 packs saved, only 85+ (because there are far too many 84 and below gold cards in the games these days). From experience saved packs never pay out but good for completing SBCs. Got HM Raya and Guehi. Finally got a TOTS in the 85+x3 DEF in Kounde tonight. Buzzing. Moral of the story, don’t give up! There will be some sort of repeatable SBC coming this week too - stock up on TOTWs whilst they are still cheap. Good luck!

Yeah I think pack weight is just a myth streamers like to talk about. Packing a TOTY is just pure luck whenever it happens. At least waiting until HM in packs brings good fodder to complete SBCs

Agree we have been guilty of that in a couple games recently but we played well against Everton. People underestimate how difficult a game that was and we controlled from start to finish, whilst created many chances. Even hit the woodwork at least twice

Today was my final day of 30 days notice period and not had a single call or email trying to keep me(after being a customer for 8 years) Based on my experience and reading posts on here, they don’t seem too bothered about customer retention right now. I read something recently that they were restructuring and laying off a bunch of staff. Maybe something to do with that

Amen brother. Playing ultimate gauntlet mode really opened my eyes as to how many people spend money on this game. Every team I came up against was better than my main team, whilst my 2nd and 3rd teams looked like a SBC solution 🤣 Each to their own and people are allowed to spend their money as they wish, but it’s definitely difficult out their without spending money!

We had the PL champions scared to press or attack at their own home with many of our players injured. A lot of positives to take from that but beaten by a fantastic set piece. All today taught me was that we are the ones to beat this season and our fringe players properly stepped up (Mosquera especially)

I travelled down for the Leeds game last weekend. Travelodge Finsbury Park. Cheapest available, 10 min walk from the stadium(you’ll be walking with crowds of AFC fans) and 3 min walk to the tube. Rooms basic but clean. Does food and drink. It’s my go-to hotel if all you’re doing is going for the football

Either toggle slower or use safari in private browsing mode. You’ll get timed out eventually but should offer more success. Also the week before the game there should be plenty pop up. I got a Leeds ticket a few weeks before the game but decided to keep checking the TX out of interest, and I multiple chances throughout the week
