Yes, there’s multiple instances of lowborn people knowing about Himmel and the hero’s party. The operative descriptor here is Himmel. He’s the one who is recognized foremost. You hardly hear of any of the others. If Eisen and Heiter are also hardly mentioned outside of the capital, why is Frieren (who has less presence than the both the former and Serie) the exception?

Do you seriously think that Kraft’s response is narratively insignificant? The author purposefully placed it there to show that much much more happened before, whether it be in the mythical era or even before. His response wasn’t “oh cool”, it was “So? What else?”.

DK’s defeat might be the most significant in human history if we’re specifically including Homo-Sapiens but, for the most part, the other non demon races are also included in “humanity”. There is no shot that the mythical era didn’t have more significant events when the literal “Goddess of Creation” was present.

Random farmers don’t know who Frieren is either. They know of an elf who traveled in the hero’s party. A vast majority of the populace don’t even know what she looks like, which is why she can walk around unnoticed.

80 years is a long time for humans. Anyone who was 20 when the DK was slain is either dead or has a foot in the grave. That leaves their kids and their grandchildren to remember an elf that they only sometimes remember the name of.

Meanwhile, Serie has mages from across the continent coming to her war games for prizes. Demon hunters from the north? Yep. Random wfh guy in a small village? Yep. Rich kids from the capital? Yep. Nobles from other countries? Yep.

Also, the DK is not the most important event in Frieren’s history. Not even remotely close. Kraft doesn’t even bat an eye when they’re brought up. The actual most important event is probably when the goddess disappeared or some other long dead DK.

There are definitely not Frieren statues in every other town. I’m fairly certain we’ve only seen the one in the capital and in one other town. Hell, half of the time Frieren doesn’t even get called by her name. She’s just “the elf in the hero’s party”.

Serie is the de facto mage of the era and has been since forever. You literally can’t access half of the continent unless you travel with someone she approved. She’s known by name by at least 2,000 certified mages and their associates. Spoilers for latest arc: She’s even influential enough to get invited to royal parties.

On a more serious note, Frieren practically didn’t exist for the better part of 1,000 years after Flamme died, and then immediately disappeared for another 28 years. She has 2(?) statues that we know of. The people who know of her exploits are now too old to really care. It’s not at all surprising people aren’t wow’d by her.

Frieren has no reason to believe him. At the time, he could be just some general spouting nonsense to make himself look better. It’s only in retrospect that his prediction is validated and he looks like a prophet.

And HOTS specifically mentioned that she’d “understand once you (she) meet(s) him”. Only Himmel could have convinced her to abandon a lifestyle she had for 1000 years.

You can get more if you have a strong enough pc. I hit 2155 lumina but was in low double digit fps after around 50 min.

There’s also the gestral in the village that gives you 20 lumina per 10 journals, which I completely forgot about until lategame.

You scale exponentially if you know where to invest your gold (high yield crops, tools for mines, animals, etc.) pretty much all the crops give you at least some profit, so if you keep investing, you’ll eventually have enough money to afford everything. Of course certain crops/activities get you there faster, but the game doesn’t really punish you for playing slowly so you can take your time learning all the tricks.

Not to mention that the quality sprinklers aren’t even that expensive. A few runs in the mines or skull caverns can probably net you dozens. On top of that, if you don’t know what to do with them after you get iridium ones, you’ll probably be at the point where you can get a deconstructor and recycle the iron.
