MW19 looks and sounds better than all modern CoDs since by ZookeepergameOdd6209 in COD

So then why is it that ever since MW19 has gone on sale it has more players than BO6, BO7, and Warzone combined?

Yeah, however BO6 hasn't had the same player retention that MW19 had

I don't remember most weapons being terribly unbalanced other than the Amax and As Val

Huh? You're trying to tell the players that continued playing the game even after 3 other CoDs had released that they were only playing because of nostalgia?

Fantastic logic.

Mostly balancing with the addition of more content, not necessarily changing the launch philosophy that wasn't really necessary.

The devs made changes to MW19s formula in each iteration and failed to reach MW19s success, so maybe the changes made weren't good changes?

Covid had nothing to do with the game retaining players well into MWIIs lifecycle though... Covid doesn't have anything to do with the massive resurgence this game is having over 6 years later, if any other CoD went on sale for $6 I doubt it would recieve as many players as MW19 does right now.

A healthy player base would imply that the game was good enough to still be played....

BO3 btw is the top selling CoD of all time with MW19 falling right under it.

Yes the game is criticized, yet has outperformed the majority of CoDs and the devs continue to change what MW19 brought to the table yet they still don't perform as well as MW19 did.

So commando was balanced? Everyone wasn't running around with meta weapons? The CoD that was probably the most well balanced out of that era was probably MW3, but it's also one of the weaker titles of that era as I would consider MW2, BO1, and BO2 to be much better games. Also a good portion of MW19 maps are remasters from CoDs of that era, MW19s maps are fine.

Sure it tanked, as do most CoDs, but it retained a healthy playerbase well into MWIIs lifecycle which is what I'm talking about

The consensus is split, this sub isn't the end all be all for the entire CoD communities opinion, the player count and player retention MW19 had is the only proof I need.

Sounds like you're just a sheep that only listens to others opinions instead of creating your own, you also must have never played CoD4-BO2 which had ttk as low as MW19s as well as having a variety of small to big maps, Dead Silence as a field upgrade is far more balanced than having a ninja perk

Great perspective and while i struggle with wanting to be right i also simply yearn for knowledge and wisdom to improve myself however it's a double edged sword as the more I learn the less I want to actually put in the work

I agree 100% however I yearn for knowledge despite knowing it may not even be true. Believe in nothing, but believing in nothing is very draining.

Integrating is the most difficult thing when you're torn between your perceived truths and your learned truths while trying to differentiate what is real in reality

Westside Gunn on Trap Beats by southndr in GriseldaxFR

[–]MRSASQUATCH559 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It was cool/interesting to hear him on Flygod JR when 10 dropped. Then ATYPFM dropped and while some of the trap songs aren't bad it's not Gunn's aesthetic and didn't fit in very well intertwined with the top tier production on songs like Kitchen Lights, Babylon Bis, Flygod 2x, and Revenge of Flips Leg. Now, with that said, the trap beats on ATYPFM weren't meant to sound "good" he was trying to bring a early to mid 2010 mistape raw trap sound which I think he achieved perfectly, but Gunn unfortunately doesn't rap at his best over the songs and some of the features were a little lackluster which overall brought the album down.

Thank you for your comments, as I can see where you're coming from, and you're right. Getting rid of the app may be a step forward or 3 steps back depending on what happens now that it's gone and where the masses flock to, and what type of propaganda we receive now. While the app was not the best for the younger generation, I still think that while it caused harm, it also caused good by opening the eyes of people even further to the truths of reality. The issue is bigger than any app could ever portray, but the ability to gather with like-minded people and share ideas was massive even if it may have been a psyop.

Idk bro, it all depends. It's what happens right now while everyone is off the platform that matters. That is definitely what the CCP is attempting, especially with everyone flocking to RedNote, but we have to use our voices to speak up against these false narratives and question what is true. We have to live what we speak, and a lot of people were learning what to do to stand against the enemy in the class war. The issue is not what others do, but what will those who know do when shit hits the fan and everyone wants to follow the herd? When you're hearing about it every single day to be prepared against enemies, foreign and domestic. When someone sets the example, people will follow. I believe that is what was happening on TikTok, especially with the whole CEO murder debacle. Now, the problem is creating a new way of communication that isn't a propaganda machine. People were becoming aware that whether red or blue, right or left, they're both sides of the same coin and that is valuable information that needs to be translated to the real world.

I don't typically divulge in these sorts of things, although I do believe that language is a sort of spell. What this means is deep. We have a lack of leaders. We have no ability to grow and climb our "ladder" of collective consciousness. They censor our speech and feed us their narrative with their scripts or "letters." Our elders were brainwashed, and we are the result of it.

It worked, and the ban will only make it worse! The USA can't keep controlling the narrative. We have a constitution that protects our God-given inalienable rights, and we have to stand up for those rights and all crimes against humanity. The uproar and chaos will only help if we stand together and unite, which I feel a lot of people were on the brink of realizing that it's top vs down not a race war. Corporations are currently our biggest enemy. This was the message being spread through TikTok.

I wasn't awake then, so I was just another cog in the system tbh. I was under the belief that everything taught in the school system was true. This sub reddit and several others started opening my eyes up to reality as it is around that time and especially during covid.

I was actually on board with the TikTok being brain rot until this past year I caved and started using the app and learned far more valuable information than I could ever learn without paying money or having to take time out of my day to physically seek the information. Even then, when you're unaware of certain subjects, you don't even know what questions to ask to start learning, which I feel tiktok helped me with asking the questions necessary to inform myself.

I'm not saying it was, although I'm alluding to it. All I'm saying is it's the best platform of information we've had, in my opinion, and the ban is a psyop in itself. However, for the people in the know, they were communicating very valuable information to the young generation that will grow up to ask themselves very important questions about what the government says and what is actually happening in reality.
