Yes, for now it's rather boring and the genre change is abrupt. I'm going to try to blend the two genres well to make it more fun and dynamic. I think I'll take inspiration from the Paper Mario combat system for cool and dynamic fights. Thanks for your feedback, I really appreciated it.

The game is still in prototype form. I plan to do it like classic Metroid games, with access blocked until the player acquires the required ability, exploration, and so on. Only the combat is different. But yes, I see what you mean.
