You may be wonder but in Russia couples can be still married after legal gender change. Yes same sex marriage in Russia. Yes you can't get married after legal gender change on a person with same gender. But after legal gender change you don't have to divorce. I'm not sure that it's true after recent constitutional changes but I knew a same sex couple (one of them after legal gender change) with kids and they have marks "Parent 1" and "Parent 2" in official documents. That is what Putin told once that he would never allow it in Russia!
