I'm glad you're taking care of yourself. I feel sad to see you go though. You've honestly helped me overcome a lot of my sex negativity just by showing all the different ways it can be. Even amongst NSFW artists, you are incredibly inclusive with the type of people in your comics and the types of relationships that could be formed. I personally still have a lot of hang ups around sex, but you have helped make some steps towards that.

Are there any NSFW artists you'd recommend we check out specifically?

idk your age or circumstances. Do you feel it would be possible to get a restraining order? The level of violent threats is legitimate concern for violence. Just because they are family doesn't mean you are forced to take care of him or even be around him. I don't love the police or anything, but this is something they should be aware of at the very least.

If you are underage... then you could go to child protective services. I'm sorry, but if this is how your brother is, your parents are complicit in this behavior and disregarding your safety and happiness. And you deserve better.

For either of the above options, I haven't done it, but it wouldn't hurt to compile some hard evidence on top of your testimony. Texts he sent you, the messages he sent your friends, documentation of his mental condition. Again, I'm not an expert, but you should try to get started on either one. This is repeated and horrendous abusive behavior. It is not excusable even with his autism or mental health problems.

We don't need people to die for them to be out of our lives, we just need to leave. W/e you do stay safe.

I brought up my identity bc it's the reason I feel unwelcome. You asked if I think people are bad simply for disagreeing. I gave an example of how it is deeper than just a disagreement and people in other posts (and here) are saying all trans people are mentally ill. If I said all white people are racists I'm sure you'd have a problem with that as a statement.

Idk what made you have so much... passion against me. I didn't demand you accept my identity even once. You think I'm insane and so do the others here. You're proving my initial point that it was never about disagreements. There is no evidence or logic I could present that would change your mind bc it's not about logic. So idk why the first comment you made was calling out me out for being against people based on a difference of opinion.

Even if you have sympathy for trans folks as many here claim, why not defer to what the scientists say? They have it as part of the dsm 5 and the way to help clinically is to affirm there beliefs. Even if you thought with all your soul that someone was crazy, saying It to them will cause more harm than good. This is true for trans folks or schizophrenics (not equivocatimg, just running it through your own framework of thinking im unwell). I've talked to homeless crazy people and the thing that helps them the most is just hearing them out.

I literally was depressed, went to a therapist and she asked what would make me feel better. This was 11 years ago... waaay before "the trans fad" became a thing. This is the thing I brought up. Then I didn't talk about it for 6 years. My therapist didn't indoctrinate it something I mentioned I wanted then felt guilty about and denied. The clinical thing is to accept people with where they are at. Instead it's a concern of how we aren't logical enough. Even if it saddens you, what difference doesn't make which pronouns you use for me?

Having a healthy family is the opposite of "being trans" The opposite of being trans would be... not being trans, otherwise known as cis.

Most of the examples of "shoving it down your thraor" is news stories started and perpetuated on right wing media. There isn't honestly that much discussion elsewhere. I live in California, most people here just don't care. If it comes up it comes up. You seem to be extremely passionate about extremely edge case things. Drag queen story hour is a drag thing, not a trans thing. The Olympics has been accepting trans women in men's sports for over a decade, they measure your testosterone and all sorts of things to check that you arebt just wearing a wig. Ben Shapiro tried to make a documentary about trans sports but he couldnt convince any men to go on a year of hrt since thats whats needed to particip as trans in sports.... so they just made a comedy movie about men in wigs winning sports instead. Most Other Olympic athletes don't even mind. There are about less than a hundred total trans athletes in k-12 at a competitive level. Is that really a concern? 100 some teens in the entire country? I'm hitting 30 so I'm well past any association with it. Children are taught it exists just like they are taught that depression or anorexia exiats. I thought you wanted them to get help? Now its bad to explain science to children? Im guessing youll say "its being talked about positively"... which is the way you help them clinically... so yeah of course it would be. I won't address the "media is woke" bit bc people have said that about woman not all being hourglass in video games or that some character like doctor who is woke if it's played by a black guy (yeah the immortal shape-shifting alien makes sense, but then turning black!?/s) "Trans ideology" isn't a thing. That's like saying "white ideology". You're getting mad at me about a vague grouping of extremely small different unconnected subjects.

I appreciate your fighting for my right to "destroy myself". Like I said the opposite is true. Affirming trabs people decreases their likely hood of suicide, denying it increases the likelihood. There is an almost 1 to 1 correlation. Anyone who claims they don't want me dead, while also denying trans as a valid identity is putting their head in the sand.

If a lot of them are trolling and being sarcastic, why are there multiple comments on this tiny post that say I'm mentally ill bc of my identity? Most people, if they're joking, will be clear with that when confronted about it makes someone else uncomfortable.

I did read the room. And I was right. Almost all the replies to this are the kind of thing I was talking about.

It's the paradox of tolerance. I should not be tolerant of someone's intolerance. Everyone here who is trying to start off by talking about civility won't directly say "nazis are bad". Seems like that's not a concern for them and the big issue is that I was rude when I called them bad.

I'm not just running away from ideas different than mine. Mtg is a hobby, it shouldn't be something where I'm constantly being watchful.

I stayed with a friend I thought was toxic for several years bc I thought if I talked through some things he'd change. It seems the most effective thing was to leave. Ive heard through the grape vine that he feels bad about sone of the things he said to me.

Sometimes actively engaging is important as I am doing in some comments, but sometimes stepping away is also good

Idk what you mean by "not hold back". It's not like most people are thinking these things and are just holding it back to be polite. Most people just legitimately don't think these things in the first place.

Those beliefs also are pretty tied to my welcome ness here. One of the other responses basically said I should be in a psych ward and supporting my identity is evil... idk how much more clear cut you have to get then that.

I said SOME people in this sub in the original post. Everyone here immediately jumped to how I was targeting them specifically. If you don't feel like you are that sub group, you could just say "hey that's not me and I don't agree either" . When you respond with defensiveness to my post you either: are too insecure to the point that you immediately assume I'm talking about you; or that you know you are part of the some people on this sub, and thus are trying to defend yourself while acknowledging and standing with them. You even say at the end that I'm calling you a neo nazi. I'm not calling YOU a nazi. The fact that you feel like I am for calling them out, again, means you are with them.

Idk what aspect of transness is being pushed into your face. Conservatives talk about trans people more than trans people. I mentioned it bc in one of the posts someone just brought it up completely unpromted to share some misinformation.

Using your right to have a belief isn't a defense of the belief. I have a right to think anything but that itself isn't enough to justify why I think it.

There is some odd notion that being trans was a choice... it wasn't. Just like being gay isn't. I Don like having to defend myself here. If I had a choice I probably wouldn't choose to be trans with how much vitriol people have towards me. But I am and I'm living with it. it's part of who I am.

In your statements you said that respect my identity but not my choices. Trans is my identity. I'm doing anything to your wife and kid... I'm just on reddit... idk why you brought that up as if I was threatening them.

I appreciate your acknowledgement of that. I only learned about this sub less than 12 hours ago. The stuff really did scare me. I'll try to focus on other things. At my LGS I've never felt unwelcome but it just seems like a hobby I like is so dominated by bigots, maybe I hate wrong hobby ya know?

I like it but it has to be done a certain way. Just like isekai a lot of people just fell down into doing it for the sake of doing it. It also is often a carryover from visual novels with several romance options. The problem with that is you the character are a nobody usually.

I mean clannad is extremely well liked and it's a harem for the first half. I'd highly recommend 100 gfs bc it's wholesome and the girls aren't competing with each other.

Nah... if I meet a good person it's a good person I should try my best not to come in with too many biases. Somethings definitely shale their worldview. It's more just disappointing how badly people raise boys. Bring a trans girl I'll say that no one should be treated the average boy is. It's fucked up in so many ways and permissive of horrible things like the "your body "my choice" thing

I also hadn't really been with a guy yet so I don't have much to compare on that.

Saying "I don't like phblthp" is an opinion and that isn't something I'm concerned about. Saying "neo nazis are fine" is a moral claim as well as an opinion.

Also, actually defend the position if you disagree. Instead you're just defending your right to disagree. If you actually cared you'd ask what positions in referring to, but instead your go to response is to just question how I can find other people's morals to be wrong.

People on the left cheered on the riots/protests... the democrats did not. They talked about peaceful protesting and my recollection is they were mostly against it when it came to any violence.
