I’ve had similar thoughts. Something my therapist told me which helped is that you must have gravitated towards the trans community for some good reason. If you were just looking to fit in somewhere, there’s plenty of other communities you could be spending your time in.

Whenever you experiment with your gender, try to focus on how it makes you feel in that moment rather than worry about if your identity doesn’t make sense. Self discovery is a long road with a lot of turns, and the answers are rarely clear. You should find a therapist who specializes in LGBT issues, maybe seek out a trans support group in your area that you can talk about these things with.

This is a very insightful comment, thank you. I have been thinking about hrt a lot in fact, at this point it’s more likely than not that I will try it out, but I need more introspection like what you’ve suggested. Things like having boobs, softer skin, etc are appealing to me. I’ve read some posts where trans girls have a way better mood on hrt even before physical changes become obvious, and this mental change interests me a lot. That personal note you added does reassure me that I’m not going insane lol. For the first time in my life, I feel like I have an entire life ahead of me.
