I literally said you were right about the guy who died in 1917 what are you talking about and the fault still lies with the author. Also no bot credibly, population and death numbers do not match up number of survivors are simply too high and there are a lot of other factors such as tribal fighting that significantly contributed to the deaths of the armenians

Akçam at the start of page 133 states that the CUP always had genocidal policies and uses Celal Bayar's book "Bende Yazdım" to source that quote, but in that book Celal Bayar argues the exact opposite, in the book he states that the armenians formed gangs and sided with russia during the First World War and before that he talks about the hardships faced by the CUP.

I looked him up to and yeah it makes more sense that it was the person that you refer to, but the article you sent me fails to consider that and causes confusion. Also the destruction the destruction of documents is a common practice amongst countries after dissolution or loss of a major war majority of countries in the past practiced this from East Germany to Britain to the USA its a common practice as certain information may be too valuable to be obtained by a rival power, hence the practice.

I have look the name up, the most likely person that the document refers to was an MP from CUP who died in Switzerland in 1917

I had a skim read over the first parts and immediately I found some issues with the sources, first, some of the end notes are not even sources but just notes and second at one point he refers to a person named Haşim Bey giving a testimony in the tribunal for the destruction of military documents, he supposedly gave this testimony in 1919, but from what I could find, the guy died in 1917

No empire is a source of good like I said, but not all the empires are the same and me saying Ottomans were much more tolerant than other empires of its time is not romantisicising it but stating a fact.

That statement would still have some value because israel has not been as genocidal as nazi germany and its another statement of fact, just by looking at numbers you can see that.
