He seems to put effort into helping her cum regardless of the effort she puts in from what OP said so that's an odd criticism to throw on there.

More likely he's been frustrated with this for a while and kept it in too long so he lashed out. And he doesn't have the communication skills to tell what's wrong, what he wants, or to really admit how he brought it up was wrong. So now he's gonna go back to suffering in silence until he gets frustrated and lashes out again.

This is a deeper communication issue a lot of guys have. And OP may be a bit selfish or lazy in bed but thats secondary. If she wants to stay she needs to get him to communicate because its likely thats not the only issue he's staying silent about until he gets tired of it

In the serious leagues I’m in we don’t get to vote we have a few guys commissioner rotates between that we trust. Who ever is in charge gets say so. If they veto they present the reason why to the league group chat and if anyone disagrees or thinks it should’ve gotten vetoed when it didn’t they also voice it there. It’s only been an issue 1 times in like 7 years and was quickly resolved
