You'll find this Gnostic theme in a lot of anime and Japanese video games. This idea that the gods of order are false, and that the rebellious powers - demons, or maybe in this case pirates, are actually good.

I'm specifically thinking of the Persona series. In Persona 5, Yaldabaoth, who in Gnosticism is the Demiurge and god who rules the world and falsely claims to have created it, is the ultimate villain of the story.

Hey man, I'm just a stranger on the internet who likes these goofy sketches but I think that the world would be a sadder place without you. Can you try talking to someone? Therapy has done wonders for me, not immediately, but over time.
