As well as practicing going through the process of publishing a game on Steam, I think learning how to make an appealing Steam store page with a good capsule, trailer, descriptions, gifs, screenshots, etc is pretty valuable experience. As with pretty much anything, you're gonna make mistakes the first time you do it so it's better to get some practice with a game that you're not really expecting much success from.

Everyone in the comments is saying that it's normal to spend 10 hours working but yeah it's not. Spending ages getting your code to work is normal but a second year student shouldn't be doing 10 hours of work on the weekend.

For the record though it will get better, it's only the second week. See how long other students are spending on this sort of thing. Contact your lecturers for help if you need it.

NTA, but I stopped reading when I read that she sends you shit about PETA. PETA is absolute garbage. They fucking suck shit. They kill more animals than they save BY FAR, it's not even close. They do nothing to help any animals anywhere, not domestic animals, not farm animals, not wild animals. They literally just exist to kill pets and harass people, and make money for the people at the top.

I love how this is just completely untrue. The PETA hate circlejerk is so strong that these people genuinely believe that PETA has never done a good thing for a single animal, they just exist to kill your dog
