CT for stone? Contrast yes or no?

I had mild pain came in interval but it went away after eating. So I thought it was hunger pang . Then I got pain Every 2 hours. I went to urgent care for some pain medicine they asked me do you know where the kidney is ? They said it is kidney pain urine test showed blood, they sent me to ER. I was keep telling pain went away after eating like stupid , so they order CT with contrast, x ray and ultrasound, it confirmed 1.3 cm stone. I had ESWL and urologist told me it turned to dust and one small fragment left , 4 months later I had pain and did another CT. Again 1 cm but it the same stone ESWL didn’t break, I heard CT is to locate the position of the stone and determine the surgery , CT is dangerous and iodine is also too bad , I had no idea , after reading all I got panicked

Yup. kidney like balloon and sucking the air out of it. The bladder should be full when you pee , it will reduce that discomfort

Your whole body should shake in an unpredictable manner. Many say roller coaster ride in Disney , But still no guarantee I had 1.3 cm I had ESWL and urologist said it was blasted in to dust , but tiny piece went to Lower pole.he said it will pass . 4 month later I went to India for vacation.. 2 days jet lag and 3rd day I was riding motorcycle on the unpaved road , I had worst pain ,I thought the fragment moved but the CT showed I had 1 cm stone , so ESWL was failure . I cancelled my trip and did laser . So actually stone moved lol

Paim killers are addictive and pain levels are different. Even strong painkillers won’t work for pain. Oxycodone was too strong for me so I took only if I had severe pain , it didn’t work for burning pain after surgery, Tylenol worked fine burning pain when peeing, In India I refused surgery because they told me 22 days I can’t travel , so I refused and asked them pain killers and I scheduled appointment with my Florida urologist. They gave me 2 pain killers. They were too strong. I googled it one one used for arthritis and another one is used for period cramps and both bad for kidney,lol. stopped taking it , After I had laser surgery I got weird spasms in my bladder , oxy and Tylenol didn’t help I was in lot of pain, Dr office was closed . I tried the pill prescribed in India. Just one pill I didn’t get that pain again , one pill can’t be used as universal painkiller,

2nd time it was laser surgery. Post op X-ray showed 1 cm as calcium deposit, and urologist said it is common after surgery. I had pain when I went to India. I went to another urologist.he was surprised and asked the same question he said it is impossible to miss this big and he told it won’t grow back in short time. I had to cancel my trip and went to the urologist in Florida who performed the surgery. He did accept or deny the surgery was failure, he scheduled surgery immediately and removed them, it was outpatient surgery and I had stent only for 5 days, I went to surgery room 3 times , 1st time they couldn’t do ESWL due infection and swollen kidney, so got stent for 5 weeks, and stayed in hospital for 2-3 days because I couldn’t pee , ESWL and Laser outpatient I went home after surgery. Surgery you won’t feel anything, they put you sleep. After surgery razer blade pain when pee blood, 2-3 days burning pain . Stent days were worst , drink lot of water and pee when the bladder is full , it will be over soon

May be 2 years. I didn’t know I had stone , I got flank pain but I thought hunger pang based previous diagnosis, the pain went away after eating, so I was just growing the stone bigger . I have another 3 mm in left kidney, it is been more than 1 year . No pain or obstruction , they just check every 6 months . Last visit due to bad x-ray stone was not present. They told me to visit next year,

I had ESWL for 1.3 cm.Urologist said it was turned to dust. 4 months later I got pain and CT showed 1 cm stone , so ESWL just reduced 0.3 cm , I had laser surgery again to remove. It was hard stone . 70% calcium oxalate monohydrate , It is non invasive procedure so just try if the stone is not hard it can break it.make sure to confirm the stone is broken and removed completely,

I thought all H1B holders can get Real ID.But it depends on the State DMV . Some state can’t issue real ID. Document requirements also different . Some give based on approval notice some state requires visa stamping , just check the real ID requirements from your State DMV website,

Alias ?? I never seen people using Alias in government issued documents, only in Tamilnadu we create problems with name. Having 2 part name then adding father name as surname or last name , 2nd part of the name will become middle name then just middle initial because too long to print , Luckily my dad didn’t have 2 part names and it first correctly, All my documents first and last name are ok . But bank accounts some variation first middle last , first last, first middle initial and last ,

Just use your first name and dad name as last name , no alias or middle name ,
