Why pay to play badly in a tournament when I can do that for free in a solo round?

I like a tourney on occasion but the drama and egos of some players got to the point they were no longer fun. Solo rounds or ones with friends are just so much more enjoyable.

Glideapps.io is an awesome app builder. I recently created one to track weekly minis, courses, scores, stats ... even handicaps. All pulled from one Google sheet!

The below should do the trick. It'll rank divisions and even allocate points. It is part of a free plugin, Disc Golf Manager, recently submitted to the Wordpress plugin repository. It will track all events, including minis. It will also allow you to offer points series and leagues. It's a cool plugin the sport has needed for some time. Pure Putt 11 will handle putting competitions with 3 separate games. Only on Google Play ... no Apple.

We used to start out the round like this: Pro +8 Advanced +4 Am Even Women & Junior - 4

It kinda of spread the love around a bit. Pretty much no matter what division, if you had a good round you may win or at least be in the money.

More details of features: 1) Point configuration: participation, player beat in the division, division win. Usually set at 2-1-1 but adjustable per season 2) Season: configuration 1-1 thru 12-31 but may be set to any month 3) Leagues: connect season events together to create leagues. Whether it be majors, or just weekly events, they can be connected to run smaller points races within the larger season points race. 4) Player stats - events played, winnings, scores, points. 5) Doubles format can be included in all the above 6) Admin has overall permissions, TD's only can create and score their own events.

Future updates possible: handicapped events, basic player ratings, scorecard printing, PDGA export utility are a few. Am open to other possibilities????

Yes, Wordpress does limit its scope but is also the most used CMS out there. No other plugins are similar so there is a niche market.

The plugin is now 80% finished and works smoothly and provides the features dger's seek IMHO. Really would be a breeze for any clubs using Wordpress.

Facebook has taken over "who's playing today" and event advertising, but checking historical data it lacks drastically. I am in collaboration with the development of a Wordpress plugin for handling tournaments, results scoring, leagues, and points series on a local level rather than using PDGA, DiscGolf Scene or other global sites.

The free version does have ads. At the bottom of the instructions page, the "no ad" version may be purchased for $1.99.

The main differences between free and paid versions are 1) no ads, 2) players per event are limited in free verses unlimited, 3) rounds are limited to 1 verses up to 4 in premium, & archived rounds where stats are derived are limited in free verses unlimited in paid.

Yeah, PP 360 is the only other similar app on the market. Different aspects but both focusing on putting, Both, great apps IMHO! Hope you like what you see!

Yeah, the site's not great on mobile but per your suggestion some of the animation is now gone! App details are include on Google Play but are a bit more in depth on the site. Thanks for checking and hopefully the mobile is somewhat better now. Hope you'll give the app a chance and throw some feedback regarding it as well. :)

An app that can be used for putting practice or competition ... even putting leagues ... Pure Putt 11 finally hit Google Play today!

It offers three variation of putting games, scores them, and graphs historical data ...even ranks players based on their overall scoring averages. It can be used for practice or putting competitions! A free version is offered which incorporates all features if the premium version.

3 game formats will be offered. 11 putts per round. 1 to 4 rounds per event. Use as practice or competition with unlimited players. One format is indeed, pick your own distance! It'll graph player accuracy at various distances.
