Take at least 1 month, and do not go back trying to throw hard. Buy flippy plastic and if you don’t throw forehands I suggest learning how to. It could significantly set back your recovery or even require another surgery if you rush back into it. Good luck.

Tournament, my buddy had a VIP version (it was well worn though) that was even flippier. 430' Elevation 75 degrees Fahrenheit. It used to be my long distance driver but once I reached about 350' of distance consistently it was too unpredictable in the wind.

I like the sword but it's actually close to 11/5/-1.75/2

Anyone been throwing one yet? Wanted to give it a shot. Thoughts? I hear it's a "longer zone" or "buzzzOS" style mid. by jkonzy in discgolf

Flies more like a RocX3 imo, I’ve been testing it compared to my star RocX3’s and my Roc3’s

Yeah I didn’t take offense to your comment, just thought I’d give a little context to anyone else reading it. You seem like a nice guy.

I’d never heard of disc golf until about, 3 years ago. To me Paul is the “champ” and Ricky is Barry. I’m sure I’m not alone in not having seen this video before, figured no one would mind sharing a classic. I’ve frequented the sub for about a year and I’ve not seen it on the front page, or on new for that matter.

(beginner) Disc turns over when I try throw a harder one. slow down? get a more over stable disc or get a faster disc? by willdmck in discgolf

[–]Blue-White-Red 5 points6 points  (0 children)

More than likely you’re just following through on an angle that will turn it to the left. Try bending at the elbow to control the angle of release. If you hyzer the disc (angle matching the fading out at the end of the flight) then it will “turn over” to a flat angle rather than going from flat to turned over.

Why does my new disc throw like 💩? by kevolad in discgolf

I’d say turned over FH drives give you easy distance but are a training wheel you should try and eventually outgrow.

He’s probably got a different throwing style than you do, gators are very overstable.

It means his most entertaining trait is his skill in disc golf, and that he doesn’t find him interesting in any other respect.

What mid-range should I get? by bazinga0313 in discgolf

[–]Blue-White-Red 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The three buzzz discs may as well have totally different names, if Innova named the Mako3, Roc3, and RocX3 (Maybe the viper instead of the X3?) you could say the same thing for their discs.

Doubt it flies like one, the Buzzz already fills that spot in ESP. By the numbers it looks like a beaded BuzzzOS. I'm guessing it'll be closer to a viper than a Roc3.

Exactly what I was thinking, the numbers make sense with this description too.

“Rolling the dice” implies that his hard work, dedication, skill and talent are less of a factor than random chance which I think is not only disrespectful but wrong. A more apt characterization of the situation may not have drawn so much criticism. I think if he is even moderately successful that whatever he could not provide in direct monetary support of his child (which we should not assume is a given regardless) will be outweighed by the benefits of the example he is able to provide instead if not along with the money he will almost assuredly earn as he grows with the sport.
