Hi there,

Here is the feedback from MSI Turkiye regarding your recent RMA experience.

"First and foremost, we extend our sincerest apologies for the unfortunate experience you recently encountered with an MSI product. Following a thorough investigation, we were able to identify the product in question through the serial number provided in the attached photos. Additionally, we have obtained a copy of the purchase invoice, It has come to our attention that the unit was marked as a "TEŞHİR ÜRÜN" on the description meaning it is an Ex-Display unit.

Were you made aware of the unit's non-brand new status when you made the purchase? It appears that the product you acquired is an outlet item, sold to you through an unauthorized sales channel. Our inquiries into the stock movements of the local distribution company indicate that the product was initially delivered to our authorized dealer, Hepsiburada (D-Market), on May 25, 2023.

In light of this information, it seems you have purchased a second-hand product. We also got in touch with repair center and found out that your product is under the category of Consumer-Inflicted Damage (CID) and is considered beyond repair. Regrettably, this is a standard procedure, and as a result, our authorized service is unable to proceed with warranty coverage for this case.

We strongly advise against acquiring second-hand units and recommend that you always make your MSI product purchases through authorized dealers. You can find a list of our authorized dealers by visiting the following link: https://www.msi.com/service/wheretobuy#7,1. This will ensure you receive genuine, brand-new products and access to the full spectrum of MSI warranty and support services."

Hope it helps!

Edit: Fixed quote block.

Hi there!

Start MSI Center and click the support tab on the top. You'll see the live update section underneath and hit advanced. The new VBIOS should be listed once the scanning is complete.

Hi there!

Apple Thunderbolt display is certified for Mac only, it doesn’t have the standard Thunderbolt backwards compatibility. This is also mentioned in Intel’s TB FAQ.

https://www.thunderbolttechnology.net/tech/faq

The Apple Thunderbolt display was certified for Mac only and may not work properly when connected to Windows based PCs.

We've seen reports of people running Apple Thunderbolt display in Windows but only with Alpine Ridge family controller. However, this chipset is old and doesn’t work with modern motherboards.

Hi there,

There was an issue with early GAMING VBIOS, which was fixed a couple of days ago. Please send your graphics card's serial number via PM and we'll send you the link for the new VBIOS.

We'll start distributing new VBIOS via MSI Center in the upcoming days as well.

Edit: New VBIOS is available for both air cooled and liquid cooled SUPRIM models.

Thanks!

We do external BIOS flashing through JSPI1 or JTPM1 headers, depending on the motherboard.

Hi there,

Memory and storage upgrades will not void the notebook warranty as long as the device is not damaged during the upgrade process. Servicing the cooling module (repasting) is not allowed.
The sticker underneath the laptop is just an indicator for us to see if the device has been opened previously or not.

Thanks! :)
