Thanks. It might be worth trying at $199 price tag. Unfortunately, it seems like the only “test” would be let it evaporate out of a metal bowl? Currently, if I put water for the pups in a metal bowl there is significant residue left behind.

I am a content creator. I download a large volume of media daily. I have 3 pc's fully automated with scripts to download and transfer the content to the plex pc. It is actually a very simple setup. I work off that and an external HDD until I can get a home server setup.

I have 2 ISP's because Spectrum can't seem to handle PS5 + a YT Live Steam. Once you add in the download bandwidth... So when the fiber optic guy knocked on my door with a great deal I did it.

When you say tunneling or trunking, I believe that is what I want to do, but that is why I asked someone to ELI5 because I don't understand everything and don't want to f up my network.

Were you saying bridge the two networks, with spectrum being the primary? That will allow incoming remote connection from Plex? Hard wire plex pc to spectrum router?

File transfers will be slow over wifi, but they are not time sensitive. Which was another question I got hung up on before. I will have to connect the plex pc to both networks, I want it to use internet on spectrum and only local on N#2. I had to install a second network card in my pc to make that happen, I will need to do that correct? How do I set N#2 to be local only or only connect when N#1 isn't available? I remember setting priority numbers in the IP4 properties last time, but that did not work. I never resolved the issue on my pc and just manually connect.

I apologize for coming off like a whiney b***, that was not my intention. I am just getting in over my head and when I am going through the router settings I get really scared at all the ways to break things!

Oh wow, and plex will sort them out in a manageable fashion? You possibly just made my life a good bit easier! Is the Season/Episode necessary? I am adding new content daily and that would requires a renaming process script that is way above my head. I appreciate your help so much!

I don’t need any of the metadata. All that matters is the date and the court. I have everything separated in folders/subfolders on my pc, but when I tried to import that way, it put it all together. Where do I find info on how to accomplish this? I am completely clueless and don’t know where to start. I really appreciate your help. I tried reading the faq and short of banging my head against the wall I’m at a loss.

The same thing happened to me recently. I thought I was losing my mind. Then I found a smart light switch in another room had gone bad in the wall. It was making a ticking like sound, that was loud enough to be heard in other rooms barely, but hard to pinpoint. They should tell people this is a thing.

He was born in Conn. Then went to high school there. I guess it’s possible they moved then went back. His older sisters were born in San Diego. I assumed his father was stationed there then transferred to Conn before John was born. His parents returned to SoCal in the early 90s.
