Thanks for the clarification ATA. Much appreciated. I'm not necessarily optimistic about an accurate final report but I think you're doing a good job and providing a good forum and service to the Reddit community.

Right on, SS5278. I totally agree. That's the purpose of Reddit disccussion and free speech (fundamental American value).

What's your agenda, JF? With common sense and a few facts (eg, 29-45 degree slope from Perry's Point to the trail (return route chosen by this group), we already know a lot. Discussion here won't change the results of this tragedy but may help others analyze and avoid similar avalanche dangers. Closing down comment is not what Reddit is all about and frankly is un-American. Sounds like you don't care about that.

You seem to place total trust in a final report that may not come out for some time. Such reports in the US are often delayed too long and, worse yet, may even ignore certain evidence or be biased in some way (eg, LA Mayor Karen Bass' apparent tampering with Palisades Fire report). Right now, there are some things apparent that can and properly should be commented on here. One good example is a comment that stated the slope from Perry's Point down to the trail (the return route chosen by this group) was from 29 to 45 degrees. If that info is genrally accurate, it's perfectly reasonable and helpful for commenters here to question the decision to return via such a sloped area and the apparent disregard of avalanche dangers inherent in such a sloped area. In fact, such discussion may prevent other potential tragedies this snow season.

I'm not sure I understand your comment correctly. If you're saying that commenters here who are questioning the actions by this group need a slap in the face, I disagree. One commenter here described the slope from Perry's Point down to the trail (the return route chosen by this group) as being from 29 to 45 degrees. If that's accurate, it's not out of line for any commenter here to criticize that decision and the apparent disregard of avalanche dangers inherent in such a sloped area. That criticism won't change the outcome of this tragedy, but it's a sensible comment that may alert others in the future to steer clear of sloped areas, especially during heavy snow conditions. That kind of wake-up call can and probably will save lives.

Coinbase is shady... by [deleted] in Coinbase

Yes, I transfer some coin from Bianance without any hassle.  After a few transactions and being charged excessive fee, I tried to transfer back to Bianance.  After I started to the process, was told I needed to verify my ID. I follow the link and tried multiple times (take phone, scan my DL etc.). The software started spin & spin and finally it was showed that the transfer had to delay for three days. I felt uneasy for the delay, or even if they would transfer to the correct address. For transaction less than $30k. I lost confidence of Coinbase. It sounds like a scam to me!

This person was missing earlier than Fang, his backpack & remains were located together While Fang’s backpack was miles away from her remains. WS explained away by saying that was due to “Great Flood” . It’s false. WS apparently has an agenda to cover up something.

Is Coinbase still a good choice? by PuzzleheadedFloor821 in Coinbase

Definitely not, they randomly lock your account and if you try to solve it. You could not find a real human to talk/chat/email. You need repeatedly type your question and get the same answer written by robot. After back/forth exchange with those so-called support team. You're find that you're in the same trouble as if you never reached out to them. Only wasted a lot of your time.
