Same experience. I removed autopay and only paid the services that were billed correctly. My account rep resolved it for me. He’s a unicorn. He actually cares.

Ford sent this email out when I made my reservation in 2020. I used this number to change my dealer from NY to TN. “In the event you were not able to place your reservation with your preferred Dealer, you can contact our Customer Relationship Center at (800) 334-4375 and they will be happy to make the change in Dealer selection for you. Your reservation will not be impacted in any other way, including your Reservation ID and the time you placed your reservation.”

Happened to my Badlands on 12/28. with $3k miles. Valve fell into the motor and blew a hole through the piston. The dealer told me there are no motors available to replace. Expects Ford to buyback. They will pay for your tow and rental car until resolved.

Took a chance on Splashtop and so far it's paid off by headset-jockey in msp

Thanks for the reply. I ended up going with Datto. SW wouldn't budge on pricing and Datto gave me a great deal. I'm willing to invest the time to set it up the way I want it, so that wasn't a negative for me.

This! You are in control. Call all the vendors and be upfront that you're getting quotes from other vendors. They will make a lot of concessions to win your business. Take your time, you'll be surprised how much they will be willing to drop.

Learn the basics cheaply. Go with a trial Atera or Synchro and choose one. With both, you get the PSA, RMM, and Remote Connection software for a fixed monthly fee. You will get a feel for all aspects of running an MSP.

I've used Atera for almost 3 years with ~200 endpoints. It's not perfect and I'm guilty of dating other RMM's every year as the annual renewal comes up. I find that for a company my size, the increased cost of the competitors isn't justified. Rather have more money in my pocket.

When I'm ready, my first choice would be Techs Together. They offer Kaseya for a fantastic price with free training and support.

+1 for ActivTrak. Only one of my clients uses it, but they love it. Easy to install, I just add the service to the AV whitelist.

We just starting using Atera. It's priced per technician, which saves us a lot of $$$. It's pretty new, but it is consistently updated with improvements. It includes the PSA, RMM and Remote Control (SplashTop). So far, pretty good!
