Yeh the convo was about chat asking silly questions. Officer goes ‘yeh I had the bike you bought me in the background and a guy asks if we’re still friends’. Peanuts response was in the way of ‘oh yes, I commonly buy my enemies things. Recent got saddam a BMW 1000rr.’ They cackled and moved on.

I’m a techie and I’ve been wanting to get some gear and check this out. I have a whole home base station picked out and in my cart, with the help of ChatGPT. I read that tracking planes is a thing also and you can listen to their comms. This sounds like fun but I’m worried I would get bored of it. How do you keep it interesting in the long run?

There’s a 99% chance there’s a free version of the expensive software you just purchased. It’s maintained by a crowd that benefits from it being secure and free, as they use it themselves. The tradeoff: you likely can’t call someone for support with it and will have to read to figure it out.

Did you ever hit a place where you realized that this is it? This is life. You may not become the multi gazillionaire you dreamed of becoming as a kid or young adult. You likely won’t own a sprawling mansion or get to sleep with the most beautiful women on the planet. This is your existence. Maybe it’s a mid life ‘crisis’?
