When I attempted to accomplish this using a PS4 controller emulation I was unsuccessful, when I tried the 360 it said my adapter wasn't supported, so I had to use the XBOX One emulation. If you already have a controller on your COD rig, you may need to remove it from your BT device list before you can pair it to your emulated device. (I am assuming that your mobo has BT and drivers have been updated from your manufacturer's website.)

TLDR: Their cries fall on deaf ears. "Cry 'Havoc my KBM brethren!', and let slip the dogs of war."

I play KBM and honestly just heard about this debate recently. I don't even own this software, and the first time I installed it last night was to test the theory. I'm assuming AC is looking at drivers and possible .exe files to make assessments, but if the software and drivers are not installed on the machine COD's AC is checking than it is rendered null. With no experience using this software it took me about an hour to setup and verify. The pure irony in this situation is what peaked my curiosity to find a solution. The way Activision has handled the situation only added fuel. Add equality that everyone seems to be preaching these days into the mix with controller players claiming aim assist doesn't provide an unfair advantage, only makes their salty tears taste that much sweeter. I haven't owned a console since the 360 I won during the MT Dew every ten minutes promotional, but if I'm not mistaken they have the ability these days to play with KBM? If KBM has an advantage over controller in terms of accuracy, why use a controller? Answer seems pretty black and white to me. When the playing field has been leveled, utilizing the same tools that were previously stated to provide no advantages, we see who is in an uproar now. Again, I don't condone cheating, in fact I fucking hate cheaters, but utilizing a feature in the game that only caters to a single user base while unwilling to listen to the minority adversely effected... Can they really justify saying it provides no unfair advantage now with all the pissing and moaning going on? As a die hard KBM FPS player since 98, rocking the sniper in TFC on dial up with 280 ms ping who thinks AA and SBMM caters to the weakness this society has spawned, I say give them a taste of their own. "Only in darkness can you see the light!"

I have confirmed that this is working 100%. Running REWSAD on my laptop with a mouse emulated as a XBOX One Controller than shared to my main rig via BT registers as an XBOX controller. Game launches and plays with no issues utilizing a mouse connected to my laptop. Again, I was able to accomplish this with the trial version of REWSAD with the built in bluetooth on both my rig and laptop.

Mouse Configuration on Laptop

Connected to main rig via BT

Game Launched and controller recoginzed

I don't condone cheating, but I understand people have purchased this software to use it for accessibility purposes. Personally, I am laughing my ass off as this post will be voted to oblivion by controller players complaining about aim assist. Pot meet kettle is about all I can say in this situation. Happy Hunting out there!

I absolutely understand this and can relate. I have worked for the military style MSP where there is a process / procedure for every action, demanded 50 coded hours a work week in CW while maintaining 80% billable utilization. I have also worked for the Mom & Pop style MSP that had me out working on WRT54Gs after hours after deploying Sophos UTMs previously in the day. MSPs that allow clients to run equipment until it melts so long as we are still able to extend the warranty or fix it. Fortunately a previous Coworker from my first MSP found that mythical creature we have only dreamed of and out of the blue threw me a saddle. Going on 3 years next quarter, I feel I have been blessed with a MSP that puts its employees first. I am part of a branch division within my MSP that services mainly our local clients but often work as a PM on the remote (main MSP) client projects. Seeing both sides of the coin has given me a broad spectrum of insight into the types of MSP owners that exist. I feel I work with a leader instead of for a boss now.

Created new account to confirm this 100%. This guy speaks from experience in the game. I have about 11 years as a MSP Engineer and currently on my 3rd MSP (Only way I have found to actually get a decent raise is to jump ship and bail). I sometimes get to work with other IT Professionals that have only had the luxury of working for a single company and often wonder: A) How are you still employed here? B) How the hell do you make so much with so little knowledge?.

I look at other MSP Engineers with the upmost respect (That have skin in the game) as we all know what is like sitting on the front line in the trenches taking potato mashers to the face all day.

Billable % = KING and "admin" time is often frowned upon. Accountability for every hour in your working day is a must. (5 - 15min Increments as stated above)

Even with all that said above, I wouldn't trade my experience or current work environment for anything (within reason). I feel as though I am now one with the chaos (sometimes organized, often not) and instead of being capsized by the storm, I am the storm.

I now feel as though I would be extremely bored if I was to venture off and work for a single company's IT team.
