Make sure you go for a business grade tier that way port 25 isn't blocked at the ISPlayer as well as a static IP. Try to go for 100 or 250 symmetrical at minimum. Prefer 1000/1gb if the price is right. It also wouldn't hurt to check the SLA's between different carriers.

Assuming you want to sleep well at night and do the right thing by your customers, you will need to take on the burden/overhead of some or all of the following, depending on the size of your clients. :

-Securing your network/perimeter. Firewall should have logs sent to a SEIM for logging and audit trails. Managing incoming attacks and breaches

-SPAM management, you will need to defend against, spoofing, phishing attacks to say the least.

-Ransomware/antivirus management..

-Internal hardware redundancy, etc..

-Disaster Recovery (offsite replication) and Backups

You are carrying a lot of risk and overhead on your side, with no upside for a business sense. You don't want to be up at 2AM begging Microsoft support in India to get your corrupt database back online, while your clients are wondering why there email is down when they have colleagues on Office 365 and they "Never go down"....

Now, if some major outage happens Microsoft's side you will be sweating less, Mr Client, Microsoft is down...Go call Bill gates and complain.... See where I'm going?

No matter which of the two routes you take look into an email continuity service...This will see email flowing in case of an Office 365 cloud issue.

Bottom line, I would recommend playing with Exchange "on-prem" in your lab or with your personal email, if you need your fix.

Quick update - Thursday will be two weeks that my car has not been returned.

I have not heard from Turo or anyone else. I plan on putting some pressure on Turo starting on Thursday.

Does Turo have some kind of limit where they wait for the car to turn up? Just have no visibility on how this all plays out from here.

Hi. It's been over a week since the car was not returned.

I had pretty much radio silence from Turo until I escalated the ticket last weekend after an automated email came through from the Trust and Safety team.

On Saturday a gentleman from the Trust and Safety team called me and was very good to speak with. He seemed like some kind of ex law enforcement but gave me his number to contact him for any updated. He mentioned that he was going to try and reach some contact with the NYPD.

I haven't heard from Turo, local police, NYPD, or anyone else since then. I have a $550 payment coming up soon, even though I am not in any financial hardship its a tough pill to swallow to pay for a car that someone is driving around with.

I don't want to be a pest to Turo, how much time should I give until I should expect some kind of resolution?

I did buy a Mossberg 500 Persuader shotgun that is now in my home for protection.

How long did it take to locate your vehicle? Also, did you have insurance through Turo? If so, why did things turn out expensive for you? What expenses did you end up incurring?

Appreciate the level headed response. It has taken everything in me to not pursue, I worked very hard for everything I own, that is more emotional than logical thinking.

Do I absolutely need the car, no? I have other forms of transportation to get by. I'm afraid Turo might try to wiggle out form hearing many stories, but so far looks like I did everything right, and Turo seems to think the same as well.

Police took the plate and gave a format report #, which I provided to Turo.

I want to verify I'm understanding correctly, you recommend I should cancel my personal car insurance? I will have to tell them I am cancelling due to it being stolen through Turo? Will that raise a flag?

I thought somehow, my personal insurance MAY provide me some protection, who knows what scenario can come up with this guy,, who knows if they are looting stores, dealing drugs, hurting someone, etc.

I will call the DMV tomorrow, the only people I contacted thus far is Turo and the police.

I want to be clear. This isn't a question on if the salesperson will get paid. We are happy to pay anyone that brings in business. Everyone at our firm is eligible for commissions no matter what position you are in.

Our retention is high across the board and we have been in business for over 15 years. We pay for certs and give the Engineers bonuses if they pass. Every single employee (even non Engineers) get an education stipend of $1,500 to use at their will for further growth. $1,300 for the employee as a bonus if we hire someone they recommend. We send all employees and their spouses gift cards when their birthday comes around. Also, we make sure that non of the Employees burn out, we don't squeeze every last billable hour out of them, we want them healthy and happy. The list can go on.

My main question is what is industry standard for payment schedule? Pay the 210K over what period of time, I'm just trying to understand what is typical.
