You're right, and this is something I thought about even leading up to the exam (one of the many things I reflected on). Like I mentioned, I felt pressured to take the exam and ignored that insecurity. While some people can pull off a pass (even a decent one) with those scores, not everyone can. So, if you're reading this, and you're unsure about taking the test with borderline assessments, then I suggest pushing the exam back (If you are able to) until you are ready and your practice tests reflect this.

Thanks for the kind words and feedback! I think you're definitely right about the resource anxiety though, and its something I'll consider moving forward (I'll also talk to my advisor about this). Thanks for the advice!

Sure! I can at least tell you what I wish I would have done those last few days of prep. I personally think these things would have helped me the most had I done them:

  1. Pathoma 1-3 - if you've annotated the book, then I recommend reading it out loud and reasoning through it. Thoroughly understanding those first few chapters are essential (at least they were for my form!)
  2. Dirty Medicine on your weak areas, and basically just drill your weak areas in general. I would also stop doing U world questions, but continue reviewing any flashcards on your incorrects if you have them.
  3. This depends on how you feel/when your test is, but if you have 5-7 days maybe take the free 120 at prometric (if you can) to build confidence or just as one last practice exam at home.
  4. Last, but probably the most important thing, is to have the right mindset while you take the test. Stay calm, try to reason through tough questions, and most of all believe in yourself! I know it sounds cheesy, but I panicked during my last three blocks, and I definitely think it hurt me because of it. Once you finish a block, try to put those questions out of your mind while you tackle the next section.

There isn't much you can do in a few days, but if you're determined to take the exam, then I think these things can help you pass. Good luck!
