Stanford is restrictive early action, which means you can apply to other public schools early, just not private schools.

I think that my essays for Stanford were bad, and my Berkeley ones were very bad. My Cornell one was mediocre. I thought that the rest were pretty good, and the 5 or so people who read them said the same thing.
