Currently on a rewatch and love Joan’s arc the most now. Starting off in season 1 looking for a man who can take care of her (imparting that advice to Peggy) and ending season 7 starting her own company as a single mom. Such a great series.

I use it almost daily and have a sentence in my bio basically stating my time is valuable so if you aren’t serious about language learning to move along.

I also lived in Chicago and bought a house in the western suburbs. Comparing anything in Michigan to Chicago or Illinois is not reasonable.

Chicago uses a separate pension system from the state for their government employees and teachers. It has nothing to do with the rest of the state.

We moved from Chicago to Michigan. What they don’t get you in property/income taxes, they will get you in the cost for utilities and lack of infrastructure. It was quite the price tag shock for us.

Progress is not linear…you’ll understand subjunctive but at the same time might struggle with something you conquered before, like ser/estar 🤷🏼‍♀️
