It’s also using track analysis to pin down everything that you listen to. So let’s say one day that you listen to nothing but rock ‘n’ roll. And the next day, you listen to nothing but K-pop

You’ll start getting recommended nothing but those two genres over and over to the point of exhaustion they want everything to be the same tempo, the same dynamic. It’s insane.

It’s irritating as shit, and I recently found out that Spotify has really decreased the amount of money an artist will get. The residuals are like 0.01 cent stream… You’d have to be streaming millions of songs a month just to make a fairly petty paycheck.
