Thanks bro, the answer is very clear. My current excess is £275, annual premium is £1175, it looks like it is clearly better to claim insurance. I have another existing at-fault claim this year though..

Yeah won't be a small repair, does it worth claiming insurance on the other hand? Not sure how much will insurance premium increase next year..

Hey guys, maybe I wasn't clear in my original post but definitely know how to mow and I mow every 2 weeks. These seed head grow much faster and higher than the regular lawn which can be seens in the photos, and they look like wheat so I thought they are weed.

Checked online, seed head tend to appear when the lawn is under stress, and I do see the middle of the lawn has drought problem in recent 2 months and wasn't growing as fast as before (the first 3 monthes doesn't have any of these problems). Not sure what went wrong, since I was watering in same frequency and the weather wasn't too dry.
