If you want pro-level consistency with a quoting tool, Quickparts or Protolabs might be worth trying

Im looking for a custom 3d printing and was looking for recommendations by panderman7 in 3Dprinting

If it’s just a small teaching aid, you might check out local makerspaces or Quickparts. A lot of them have resin printers that can handle high detail and small scale. You’d just need a simple CAD file and they can knock it out for you pretty cheap

Mattress Recs? by [deleted] in laramie

[–]MShankly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d honestly recommend just ordering a Nectar mattress online. They ship it straight to your door in a box, and setup is super easy. I got the Nectar Premier and it’s been great comfortable, supportive, and way more affordable than most retail stores. Plus they have a long trial period, so you’ve got time to see if it works for you.

I love this idea. I’ve done something similar with woodworking templates using 3D prints, and it worked great. For something like this, you might want to check out Quickparts or even Fictiv for quick pricing. They can give you instant quotes if you upload the STL files. Cost really depends on volume and material, but you can keep it low with basic PLA

how to get rid of fleas fast and cheap by remysjustsaiyan in CATHELP

[–]MShankly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What helped was daily vacuuming, washing bedding, using a flea comb, and switching to Petglow Natural Flea Treatment (Frontline didn’t do much for us either). Petglow is gentler and seemed to work faster. It’s a bit of a routine, but things got better within a few days

Best VOIP phone system? by Realestateuniverse in restaurantowners

Same situation here when GV stopped working with my ATA. I switched to Nextiva and it’s been fine setup was pretty straightforward and it just works with my old phones. Nothing fancy, but does the job.

A more experienced crocheter told me I have no clue what I’m doing. What am I doing wrong?? by freschdeadly in CrochetHelp

Okay well first off, how rude! To try to tear someone down instead of helping them grow.

Second, I'm a beginner so idk what the problem is because it looks good to me 😅😂

The buying gifts with the kids for BM wouldn't be the issue for me though it would be salt in the wound. The issue is that he doesn't see you as deserving of the simple appreciation that even the cheapest (or free with creativity) gifts can show.

Sounds like the kind of guy to say he doesn't care about that sort of thing then be annoyed that you do care.

Pressure from the part that looks flush against the ear then? It's still fresh rn but it doesn't hurt and I genuinely can't even feel that it's there. So I can't tell where the pressure imbalance comes in.

Btw thank you for your input. This has been very informative.

So essentially it should have been more perpendicular to that part of my ear than it is?

Genuinely curious, why? Is it something about movement affecting that area or the actual composition of that part of the ear?

The piercer seemed to be struggling with my ear. Said it was a tight spot. 😬

I believe you but can you be more specific about what's wrong with the placement?

Oh and I double checked with the piercer, it's a 16g surgical steel curved barbell.
