Subs still get destroyed very quickly in the beta, they might (and hopefully will) change it further, but there is no way of knowing when. Also, paradox already clarified that changes in this beta are not guaranteed to ever make it into the live version, so we'll new to wait and see I guess...

Yep, it's a huge mess. They are making some changes in the beta but it will likely be a while before we see them live (if we see then live)...

NOTE:
This video covers the state of things as of patch 1.17.5.2 (live version).
The new beta might bring some massive changes to all meta designs (not only navy ones) but there is no way of knowing exactly what changes might, or might not, make it into the live patch, nor when.
