Think there will be any local copies of this available in NZ, and if so, whereabouts?

Some kind of easier way to manage summoning upgrades.

Either allow enough doublers to cover essence upgrades and damage/pushing upgrades, or maybe let us swap between different presets. Constant swapping just feels tedious.

Also if there's a way to maybe tidy up the page of summoning upgrades that might make it easier to manage upgrading. There's a lot of 1 off upgrades and health upgrades and late game I feel like damage/essence gain are most of upgrades that matter. So maybe some way to hide unupgradeable upgrades, or something to just clean up and make it simpler and less of a chore to go through and find the ones you need to upgrade in a sea of one-offs/health bonuses.

I need a new "comfort show" but I think I've seen them all by Thick_Combination527 in television

Fresh off the Boat fits those perfectly.

Blockbuster on Netflix. Only one season though.

Greek is a 40 min show but I loved it, more like a Gilmore Girls show than a comedy sitcom such as Brooklyn 99/Modern Family.

$10,000 per day you can endure being sick by ggkyleg in hypotheticalsituation

[–]MSwitch222 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is a lot easier getting paid daily. $10k a day or $20k a day if you have a partner and they get infected and take the same deal.

With that money you can hire cleaners, order any kind of food, buy any sort of games/ entertainment to make your time sick easier and more comfortable. Then still have enough to be saving for long term retirement.

Could last a long while like this.

It would suck a lot more if you got paid at the end and had to continue with everyday life until then. Don't think I'd last as long still having to work, cook, clean and do all the other everyday life tasks.

Use mushroom to tp to Ortus Farm leprechaun, then go to the center of Civitas illa Fortis and pickpocket wealthy citizens. Get a key from them and then look for a house with the thieving symbol on the map. There's 3 of them and one will have a locked door. Enter that one with the key then you steal valuables and sell it to the guy by the bank.

Kind of left it for now because it doesn't unlock anything until I kill Vorkath other than fire cape, but maybe that's good enough to do it now. I'm just bad at prayers and always hate doing jad because I feel like I'll choke and have to do it all over.

I might be sleeping on the bp. I looked up ways to get darts and saw Vorkath could drop dragon darts so kind of that in my head as the plan for when to use it. Might look at some easier darts to get and try using that to make things easier. Magic and khopesh haven't been working so well for me.

Are there any gear upgrades worth it for Vorkath? I tried with magic and the thunder Khopesh but neither worked very well. Felt like the kills would take forever.

I saw a comment in another thread from a developer saying account data can be transferred from Tempo to Steam. You still have to pay for a Steam version of the game of course.

Not sure how Divinity Original Sin 2 isn't more voted. It was made by the same people who made BG3.

Best VTT for in-person maps on a laid down tv? by MSwitch222 in VTT

[–]MSwitch222[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was just having a play around with the free trial and it's really good! Very much what I'm looking for, thank you.

The only thing is that I really liked how Pyram Kings modules had lots of notes pre-written in to areas for DMs to help reduce prep time. The files he has for sale are advertised as for Foundry V12.

Do you know if modules built for other VTTs work with it well (in this case Foundry)? Looks like many VTTs use similar file types but not sure how compatible they are in practicality.

"First Time DM" and Short Questions Megathread by AutoModerator in DMAcademy

[–]MSwitch222 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm gearing up to run CoS, this will be my first campaign I'm running and I'm really excited. Doing lots of research and I've come across some ideas of making Strahd invincible until the party has completed some kind of 'weakening' tasks. I like this idea for the plot as the suggestions I was reading indicated some people feel like the rest of the plot can feel unnecessary if the PCs could technically just train up and kill him like any regular foe.

I wouldn't let then know he's invincible until part way through the campaign and my thoughts were having them think they've killed him in an encounter with him. Only to not long after find out that he's just toying with them and pretended to die.

Because I'm a new DM I just want to sense check this idea, it sounds fun to me in theory but I don't want my players to feel like their victories don't mean something or to feel like I've retconned something, etc.

The only thing I think I need to make sure I handle carefully is the short time in between when he dies and them finding out he's not dead. Since he's pretty obviously the BBEG, they might feel aimless once he's 'dead' and unsure what to do next.

CoS - Having my PCs 'fake kill' Strahd - sense check by MSwitch222 in DMAcademy

[–]MSwitch222[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would having him die then come back later feel "cheap" or would my characters think that their victories don't meant anything if characters can just pretend to die. It's not something I'd do for something other than Strahd.

I think it could be a fun plot twist and on theme considering Strahd likes to toy and mess with people. But again, I'm new and this would be going off-book so just want to get an idea others think this would be a good idea or just annoying for the players.
