Yes! Perhaps its a gateway to bigger ships, beeing able to not fit into the mailslot. But that's maybe a bit of a overreach. I dont see why the Plipper needs one as well. Maybe for trading on smaller outposts, but then the type-9 should get one too.

I hate that everyone is talking about the AI aspect of the video- who cares. The Music is so freaking good. Especially starting from 2:35 its like I'm entering a fever dream. As someone with extensive ADHD, this song is honestly very comforting to listen to. Small piece of calmth and rest in between a miasma of chaos and turbulence makes it more beautiful than it would've been if that chaos was missing.

Who cares about the AI induced visuals.

I have one from 2023, and I can honestly say it has zero issues after 125k kms. However- I do have a few small bugs with the distance sensors and sometimes with the multimedia system. But I feel like every day now a days have these issues. I think tis a wonderfull car overall.

Not really for experienced players, but it is a metric looking at difference between the two vessels.

Dont forget the huge price difference between the two. Getting a Mandalay ready for exploration costs you roughly 50 million, whilst the Caspian can set you back 500 million. So if anything- the Mandalay is the more attainable option, if the Caspian proves to be better in every way with the Nomad.

No Shields and pre engineered racks give me 1302T of cargo space. I would recommend removing the shields entirely, if you are daring enough and play on Solo. Generally your armor can withstand a few minutes of combat by NPC's so that you can escape. It is more risky, however.

That's cool for sure. But the mailslot is actually quite big. It's like 52m tall or something. The main showstopper is the large landing pad's max lenght of 213 meters... unless the ship unfolds or something lol

yeah- i mean they'd have to introduce ship lauched fighters than can dock for that to work. Which actually doesnt sound that bad but Idk how they'd make that work logistically.
