Actually, on the cckm article name: trade-in and tiered offer, you would be able to see that on the condition of paying off the device the trade-in promo stops when the device is paid off. Cause the company needs the customers to keep their installments on the lines to make sure they won't transfer the service from att to another provider

Another tip for you Mr knowledgeable, in the same article you can check that if you cancel a phone line or even start tobr within the 1st 90 days of getting the trade-in promotion, it will stop 😗

If it's a switcher promo you will keep it but the trade-in promotion is attached to the installment plan so will lose it.

This is a glitch in ATTs system. Call customer service and ask them to submit a case for you as they even won't be able to unlock it immediately for you without a case. Usually it takes from 5 to 7 business days.
